- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid RN license or temporary permit to practice in New Mexico (compact licenses accepted).
- Current CPR and NRP certifications, or proof of enrollment in certification courses.
- Prior experience in labor and delivery or related maternal-child health preferred.
- Provide patient-centered care during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
- Monitor maternal and fetal health, responding to emergent situations as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn health.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of care activities.
