Job Description

As a Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various medical settings. Your duties may include:

• Assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitoring and recording vital signs
• Assisting with medical procedures such as suture removal, IV infusion, and ventilator management
• Administering medications as directed by healthcare professionals
• Assisting with patient transfers and mobility
• Providing emotional support to patients and their families
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

• Strong medical documentation skills to accurately record patient information
• Knowledge of primary care principles and practices
• Experience in home care or hospital settings
• Proficiency in performing basic medical procedures such as suture removal, IV infusion, ventilator management, and inhalation therapy
• Ability to perform venipuncture for blood draws and other diagnostic tests
• Experience working with children in a healthcare setting is preferred
