Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Palliative Care Physician to join our team. This physician will provide specialized, family-centered care to children and adolescents with serious, complex, or life-limiting conditions, working collaboratively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams to improve quality of life, manage symptoms, and support families throughout their child's healthcare journey. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to compassionate communication, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the delivery of high-quality, comprehensive pediatric palliative care.

Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital is Northern Virginia's only dedicated children's hospital and serves as a regional destination for comprehensive, family-centered pediatric care. Located on the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, the nationally recognized 241-bed children's hospital provides advanced care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents across more than 45 pediatric specialties. • Pediatric Medical Surgical Units with EMU
• Pediatric Emergency Department
• Pediatric Inpatient EEG, Video EEG, and EMU. Outpatient EEG Program, and Sleep Lab

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
• Training: successful completion of Pediatric residency program and successful completion of Hospice & Palliative Medicine (HPM) fellowship.
• Board Certification: Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Palliative Care
• Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start, ACLS, PALS
• Payer Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
• Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
