Global Clinical Program Lead, Immunology

AstraZeneca seeks a Global Clinical Program Lead to provide medical and scientific oversight of immunology clinical development programs, including small molecules, biologics, and cell therapies. The role involves designing clinical studies, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring regulatory and safety compliance across early-to-late phase development.
Responsibilities
- Design clinical studies and develop overall clinical development strategies for immunology programs
- Drive clinical and scientific decisions within global study teams and lead governance interactions
- Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice and oversee patient safety across studies
- Review clinical study reports and prepare relevant sections in collaboration with study leadership
- Manage project study physicians and scientists; represent clinical program in product teams
Requirements
- MD or MD-PhD with specialist training in gastroenterology or clinical immunology
- Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical industry experience leading clinical trials (Phase 2-4)
- Knowledge of biostatistics, global regulatory environment, and pharmacovigilance
- Experience designing clinical development plans and Target Product Profiles
- Strong presentation and cross-functional communication skills
- Ability to work across multiple disease areas with quick learning capability
Compensation: $288,059 - $432,088 base salary
