Senior React Native Developer

Job OverviewWe are unable to sponsor visas for this positionWe are looking for an experienced React developer to support our digital product teams and provide technical leadership and mentoring to our current web development team. Your responsibilities will include development of new customer-facing product capabilities and components and support of Marvin’s partner experience environment.To be successful as a Senior React Developer, you should have proven front-end development skills and the ability and desire to teach others about React development best practices, patterns, etc.Highlights of your roleDesign and develop new and engaging customer-facing components and applications.Lead code and design reviews to maintain and improve code quality.Work closely with product management and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.Mentor less-experienced team members.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.Maintain and update project dependencies as well as fix any conflicts.Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and other developers/engineers to design and implement front-end architecture that is scalable, maintainable, and composable.Integrate frontend React components with various backend REST APIs.Maintain existing React components, including fixing bugs.You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar (or equivalent practical experience).5+ years of experience building web applications with React.Experience developing React applications with TypeScript.Strong understanding of fundamental React concepts and principles, including functional components, hooks, and the Context API.Experience with Git and understanding of common branching strategies.Experience working with UX Design and/or working with UX designers preferred.Experience working with digital product teams in an agile environment preferred.Also want to make sure you haveExperience building interactive 3D web experiences using WebGL and related frameworks (e.g., Three.js or Babylon.js).Experience developing cross-platform mobile applications using Ionic Capacitor with React and TypeScript.We invite you to See Yourself at MarvinFrom people to products, Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
