Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,268 per week

Health Saviours is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Shift: 12 hours, nights

****Must have experience with:

• Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps
• Impellas
• Post-op Cardiovascular surgeries
• CRRT

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: 

RN license in state or employment or Compact 

BLS certification required from AHA

ACLS certification required from AHA

Type of patients on the unit: DKA, Acute Respiratory Failure, MIs, CABGs, Ventilators etc. It is a mixed cardiac and medical ICU.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills

1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, required

Experience

1. 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty required

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

1. BLS required
2. Current ACLS certification required
3. RN License in state of employment or compact

Position Requirements:

Education/Skills

1. All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
2. New hires are precepted by a designated trained staff member and initial on-boarding requirements are validated through successful completion of the designated organizational entry competency validation and a Critical Care Department-specific competency validation.
3. Completion of all annual competency verification requirements.

Experience

1. One year of experience in Critical Care setting required but will accept new graduates.

7PM - 7AM
