Collaborates with business, industry, nonprofit, voluntary, local, state, federal, and commercial partners on planning, implementing, and monitoring the provision of disaster-related services and resources. Coordinates inter- and intra-unit administrative functions related to private-sector engagement, business and industry resource coordination, disaster recovery support, economic stabilization, and Individual Assistance Section objectives under the Operations Branch on a statewide basis. Job duties include but are not limited to the following: Coordinates with business, industry, local officials, economic development organizations and critical infrastructure partners, logistics providers, retailers, utilities, nonprofit partners and other private-sector stakeholders to support disaster preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation objectives. Develops and maintains statewide partner relationships, contact lists and resource capability information and communication processes to support impacted citizens and communities. Coordinates private-sector disaster resource support before, during, and after incidents. Identifies available goods, services, facilities, transportation, warehousing, commodities, equipment, technical assistance, and other business or industry resources, that support emergency management functions. Routes private-sector offers and requests through appropriate state processes to avoid duplication and ensure proper documentation. Serves during activation of the State Emergency Operations Center (EOC) for emergencies and exercises. Collects and shares situational awareness related to business impacts, supply-chain issues, unmet needs, private-sector capabilities, resource gaps, commodity concerns, and economic impacts. Provides information for situation reports, leadership briefings, and operational updates. Coordinates with Joint Information Center and Public Information Officer to ensure private-sector messaging is accurate, timely, and approved. Coordinates with the Small Business Administration, economic development partners, local officials, chambers of commerce, workforce partners, and appropriate state and federal agencies to support business recovery, economic stabilization, disaster loan outreach, recovery resource referrals, and assistance to communities. Supports coordination of private-sector information and resources at Disaster Recovery Centers, Multi-Agency Resource Centers, local assistance centers, and other survivor or business recovery locations as needed. Provides technical assistance, outreach, training, and support to local EM officials, private-sector partners, voluntary agencies, nonprofit organizations, and community stakeholders regarding private-sector coordination, business continuity, disaster resource coordination, donation and offer management, re-entry considerations, and Individual Assistance support functions. Travels throughout the state to assist counties and partners with preparedness and recovery coordination. Develops and maintains procedures, templates, reports, partner agreements, meeting notes, after-action items, and other administrative records related to private-sector coordination. Tracks partner engagement, resource offers, referrals, operational issues, and recovery outcomes. Ensures sensitive, proprietary, security-sensitive, and disaster survivor information is protected and shared only through appropriate channels. Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION:

Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:

Three years of professional experience in management or administration. Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: A master's degree will substitute for one year of the required experience. Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Administrative or business experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE Working Conditions Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting. Minimal travel may be required.
