A wonderful private family is seeking an exceptional, savvy and highly experienced House Manager / Hospitality Manager with a genuine luxury hospitality mindset to support the Principals in overseeing three beautiful properties in Malibu .

This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished private-service professional who understands how to combine sophisticated property and household management with exceptional, intuitive hospitality. The successful candidate will be highly organized and operationally strong, while also possessing the warmth, polish and service mentality required to create an effortless experience for the Principals, their family and guests.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with fine homes and luxury environments and possess broad knowledge across hospitality, VIP service, household operations, property and project management, events, household systems, staff leadership and vendor management.

This individual will take ownership of the day-to-day operation and presentation of the residences, ensuring that the properties, their contents, systems and amenities are meticulously maintained and that each residence remains beautifully presented, fully operational and guest-ready at all times .

At the heart of this position is service. The House Manager / Hospitality Manager should understand how to anticipate the needs and preferences of the Principals, provide thoughtful and discreet personal service, and ensure that guests receive an exceptional experience from arrival through departure.

The successful candidate will be hands-on, proactive and highly visible within the residences . While strong administrative and management capabilities are essential, this is not solely a desk-based management position. The individual should be comfortable stepping into service, assisting with events, inspecting rooms, supporting the housekeeping team, troubleshooting household issues and doing whatever is necessary to ensure the residences operate seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of three Malibu residences
• Ensure each property is maintained to exceptional standards and consistently principal- and guest-ready
• Provide polished, intuitive and discreet service to the Principals, family members and guests
• Anticipate household needs and preferences and ensure requests are executed efficiently
• Establish and maintain exceptional hospitality and service standards throughout the residences
• Oversee and supervise the housekeeping team, including scheduling, standards, inspections and continued training
• Conduct regular walkthroughs of the residences to ensure housekeeping, presentation and maintenance standards are consistently met
• Develop and maintain household procedures, checklists, service standards and operational systems
• Coordinate household staffing and ensure appropriate coverage based on family schedules, guests and events
• Lead by example and foster a positive, professional and collaborative household culture
• Coordinate and oversee vendors, contractors and service providers
• Maintain strong vendor relationships while ensuring quality, accountability and appropriate pricing
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs and ensure repairs and maintenance issues are addressed proactively
• Monitor household systems, equipment and technology and coordinate appropriate specialists when required
• Maintain working knowledge of smart-home systems and residential technology
• Assist with property improvement projects, renovations and special projects from planning through completion
• Track project timelines, vendors, budgets and deliverables as appropriate
• Protect the Principals' investment by ensuring the residences, furnishings, artwork, finishes, equipment and systems are properly cared for
• Oversee household inventories, supplies and provisioning
• Coordinate guest arrivals and departures, ensuring bedrooms, amenities and common areas are impeccably prepared
• Plan and execute intimate dinners, family gatherings, entertaining and larger events
• Coordinate event vendors, rentals, florals, caterin
