Assistant General Manager

Job Summary Healthtrax Fitness and Wellness is hiring athletic men and women to teach group exercise classes to our highly motivated members. Seeking people committed to fitness with the ability to learn and follow choreography while keeping time to music, inspiring, and closely monitoring the safety and exertion levels of all participants for optimal enjoyment and success. Key Responsibilities Arrive early to class to meet and greet participants and to answer questions or concerns from new or existing members. Teach group exercise classes, keeping time to music and maintaining high energy levels throughout. Encourage a safe environment, monitor exertion levels, and provide modifications for participants of varying fitness levels. Support new class members and facilitate smooth class flow. Substitute for other instructors as needed, with scheduling flexibility based on Center needs and member usage. Qualifications Enthusiastic and passionate about Group Exercise Classes; any fitness background is welcomed. Optional prior experience in dance or group exercise classes; prior instruction is not required. Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate diverse groups. Ability to follow choreography, keep accurate time, and maintain member safety. Works well in a team environment and can collaborate with the Group Fitness Director for scheduling and training opportunities. MOSSA and Les Mills instructor credentials encouraged but not mandatory. Benefits Flexible part‑time schedule with potential for substitution opportunities.
