This position is responsible for overseeing daily administrative functions, managing staff, and maintaining a high standard of patient care and satisfaction. The manager coordinates scheduling, billing, and compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring that the office operates within legal and ethical guidelines. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience in dental office management or a similar healthcare administrative role. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, insurance billing, and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Proficiency with practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certification as a Certified Dental Office Manager (CDOM) or equivalent credential. Experience with dental insurance claim processing and familiarity with ADA coding standards. Background in human resources management including hiring, training, and conflict resolution. Knowledge of OSHA/HIPPA regulations and infection control protocols specific to dental practices. Advanced skills in financial management and reporting within a healthcare setting. Responsibilities: Manage daily office operations including patient scheduling, billing, and record keeping to ensure efficient workflow. Supervise, train, and evaluate front office and administrative staff to maintain high performance and professional standards. Oversee patient communications, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns to enhance patient satisfaction and retention. Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, insurance policies, and dental practice regulations, including HIPAA requirements. Coordinate with dental professionals and external vendors to maintain office supplies, equipment, and facility maintenance. Prepare financial reports, manage budgets, and monitor accounts receivable and payable to support fiscal responsibility. Implement and improve office policies and procedures to optimize operational efficiency and patient experience.
