Radiology/CT Staff Technologist Shift Schedule Sunday – Thursday: 11:00 pm – 7:00 am Friday and Saturday: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm Saturday and Sunday: 7:00 am – 11:30 pm Job Summary Under the direction of a Radiologist and Supervisor, perform radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Execute a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assume responsibility for designated areas of procedures as required. Minimum Requirements Degree from an accredited school of Radiology. ARRT Certification is required. Registered in CT or CT experience is required for this position. Graduate or graduation‑eligible from an accredited ARRT program. BLS certification required. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be ARRT (CT) registered or trained in CT with at least one year of experience as a CT tech in a clinical setting. Must have X‑ray experience. Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions Occasional kneeling, stooping, and bending. Occasional standing and walking. Occasional pushing and pulling. Occasional intensive work requiring reading, writing, and talking. May need to sit or stand for up to 2–6 hours at a time. Physically demanding, high‑stress environment. Non‑Essential Functions Perform other duties as assigned or requested. Professional Requirements Adhere to dress code; appearance must be neat and clean. Complete annual education requirements. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Report to work on time and as scheduled. Wear identification while on duty. Maintain regulatory requirements, including all state, federal and local regulations. Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times. Comply with all organizational policies and standards regarding ethical business practices. Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities. Attend regular staff meetings and in‑services as needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to compile, code, and categorize, or verify information/data. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to determine appropriate course of action in more complex situations. Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, and maintain a positive attitude. Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and prioritize scheduling of work. Ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information. Ability to complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner. Ability to communicate effectively, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Additional Physical Requirements May need to sit for up to 2–6 hours at a time. Have near‑normal hearing—able to hear alarms, telephone, normal speaking voice, webinars. Have near‑normal vision—clarity of vision (both near and far), corrected or non‑corrected, ability to distinguish colors. Have good manual dexterity and eye‑hand coordination. Standing continuously during shift (67–100%). Walking continuously during shift (67–100%). Climbing occasionally during shift (1–33%). Bending/stooping frequently during shift (34–66%). Twisting at the waist occasionally during shift (1–33%). Pushing/pulling frequently during shift (34–66%). Lifting/carrying 20 lbs with assistance occasionally during shift (1–33%). Reaching above the shoulders frequently during shift (34–67%). Lifting/carrying 50 lbs with assistance occasionally during shift (1–33%).
