Finishing Machine Operator Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $20.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 06:00pm to 04:00pm )
- Operate and monitor finishing range equipment to process fabric according to quality and production specifications
- Set machine controls and verify proper startup
- Monitor fabric quality and adjust machine settings for width, tension, temperature, and processing requirements
- Review and complete work orders and production documentation
- Inspect finished material, send samples to the Lab as required, and report quality or equipment issues
- Wrap finished rolls, attach piece tickets, and prepare material for packing
- Maintain housekeeping, remove waste, and follow all safety and production procedures
Finishing Machine Operator Qualifications:
- Technical certificate, 3-6 months of manufacturing experience, or equivalent experience preferred
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete production and quality documentation
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions, safety procedures, and work instructions in English
- Basic math skills, including measurements and simple calculations
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and ability to troubleshoot routine issues
