Patient Access Representative

Department: Patient Access Shift: Nights Daily Work Times: 4:00pm - 4:30am Scheduled Biweekly Hours: 72 Position Summary: Under the direction of the Patient Access Registration Front Line leadership team, the Patient Access Registrar is accountable to ensure a smooth and timely registration/admission process. Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent required. 1 year of experience in a customer service role or the health care industry. Preferred: Working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, Cerner, EPIC or other EMR systems, Electronic Eligibility Systems, and various websites for third–party payers for verification. Medical terminology preferred.
