Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Emergency Department RNs

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 for RNs with over 2 years of acute care experience. New graduate RNs can receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Please note that eligibility and payout terms apply, and specifics will be discussed during the interview.

Compensation: Hourly rates range from $36.00 to $49.16, translating to gross earnings of $432.00 to $589.92 for a 12-hour shift (before taxes and deductions). Overtime will be compensated in accordance with applicable laws.

Shifts: We offer 12-hour shifts, with options available for days, nights, and mid shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver prompt, high-quality nursing care to patients facing acute illnesses, injuries, and critical conditions in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
• Assess, prioritize, and triage patients according to established clinical protocols.
• Administer emergency nursing care, treatments, and life-saving interventions.
• Provide medications, blood products, and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions, interpret clinical findings, and communicate changes to the healthcare team promptly.
• Assist with emergency procedures, trauma care, diagnostic testing, and patient stabilization.
• Operate and monitor emergency and life-support equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, EMS, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Promote patient safety, quality care, and positive clinical outcomes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a current and valid state RN license.
• Hold a current BLS certification upon hire and maintain it.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire and must be kept current.
• PALS certification and/or ENPC required within 30 days of hire and must be maintained.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Certification as an Emergency Nurse (CEN) is preferred.
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Facility-Specific Requirements:

• If working in a Paramedic Base Station ED: MICN certification is required within 12 months of hire and must be maintained.
• For EDAP certified facilities: Completion of emergency pediatric courses 1 and 2 is required within 6 months of hire.
• For non-OB facilities: NRP certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.
• Completion of the Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNNC) is required within 12 months of hire.

The estimated compensation for this role ranges from $36.00 to $49.16 per hour. The exact starting salary will be determined based on various factors, including skills, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
