Type of contract: Long-term at-will. Shift: 2nd. Expected hiring date: July 2026. Scope: Single-site manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Assist with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming activities.Support robotic equipment maintenance and ensure proper operation of production lines.Complete facility maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general repairs.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, downtime, and work orders.Participate in problem-solving activities related to safety, quality, and equipment efficiency.Support equipment modifications and improvements to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.Ensure compliance with 5S standards, safety policies, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.Participate in audits and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and other applicable standards.Ideal candidate profile:High school diploma or GED required; technical trade school or equivalent certification preferred.3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).Working knowledge of PLC systems (read/program) and industrial automation.Experience with robotics, injection molding equipment, and production machinery.Strong skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Experience with machining (milling, grinding), welding, and general fabrication is a plus.Valid forklift certification and/or willingness to obtain certification.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of safety and quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001).English required; Spanish and/or German is a plus.Benefits:Competitive health benefits package (medical, dental, and vision coverage)Workers' compensation coveragePaid time off and company holidaysRetirement savings plan (e.g., 401k with company match, if applicable)Access to technical training and online learning platformsCareer growth opportunities within a global organizationEmployee recognition and engagement programsAt OPmobility, people truly matter.
