Retail Pharmacist Position

A retail pharmacist position is available to provide essential medication dispensing and patient counseling services on a per diem basis. The assignment covers shifts on August 13 and 18, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, under the direct supervision of the store manager. The role requires proficiency with Pioneer software to ensure seamless pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and safely to customers.
• Counsel patients regarding their medication regimens and usage.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints according to company policies.
• Maintain inventory records, including controlled substance logs.
• Resolve patient issues and clarify third-party insurance coverage as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in the state of Maryland.
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with inventory and record-keeping procedures.

Location:

• Position is based in Columbia, Maryland, with coverage shifts in Baltimore.
