Physical Therapist - Day Shift

Location: Aventura, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Job Description: The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients within the unit. This role involves conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy sessions tailored to individual patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide 1:1 therapy sessions and ensure adherence to protocols.
• Attend team conferences for collaborative care planning.
• Utilize specialized equipment including treadmills, car simulators, RT300, and Bioness systems.
• Document patient progress and outcomes using Meditech system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active Physical Therapist license in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred.
