Senior Software Engineer

Overview

We need a Senior Software Engineer to shape our logistics platform, delivering deeper visibility and new capabilities to hospital, lab, and pharmacy teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and end‑to‑end delivery of complex logistics capabilities with a focus on scalability, reliability, and speed.
• Design event‑driven, distributed systems that handle a 24/7 operation, including out‑of‑order events, retries, idempotency, partial failure, and eventual consistency.
• Create data models and database schemas that scale with system growth, making deliberate choices about normalization, indexing, partitioning, and data storage.
• Shape APIs and integration patterns (REST, webhooks, contract/versioning) that enable internal teams and external partners to connect to our platform.
• Build backend services and, where appropriate, web and mobile experiences for tracking, visibility, and on‑the‑go productivity for clinic and pharmacy users.
• Partner on geospatial and routing work to keep couriers efficient and items on time.
• Make observability a first‑class concern with tracing, structured logs, alerts, and fast incident response.
• Champion CI/CD, automated testing, feature flags, and release‑confidence practices for fast, reliable ship.
• Identify opportunities for AI tooling to improve engineering and operations and apply AI solutions pragmatically.
• Influence engineering culture through technical direction, mentoring, and raising the bar in code and design reviews.

Qualifications

• 7+ years professional experience in full‑stack software engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Background delivering mobile apps for field or frontline users.
• Experience in logistics, marketplaces, or platforms with heavy third‑party integrations.
• Mastery of the .NET ecosystem, including C#, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework.
• Hands‑on experience building and scaling applications in Azure, including App Service, Functions, and Service Bus.
• Proven DevOps experience: pipeline optimization, environment configuration, and enterprise‑grade cloud infrastructure.
• Exposure to agentic AI frameworks and orchestration of AI‑driven solutions for complex engineering or business challenges.
• Experience with Flutter (web or mobile) or modern front‑end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Geospatial, routing, or mapping experience.
• Curiosity about AI tooling and practical use of AI workflows.
