Professional Development Per Diem Position Details: Positions begin in the current school year 2026-2027. Per diem (minimum number of hours are not guaranteed). Schedules vary based on individual school needs. Skills needed in elementary school experience, middle/high school experience, math/science/STEM and ELA background. Locations: Miami (PD Specialist/Coach + Leadership Coach) Palm Beach County (PD Specialist) Orange County (PD Specialist + Leadership Coach) Columbia County (PD Specialist) Hillsborough County (PD Specialist) Brevard County (PD Specialist) How you’ll be there for educators and students: Be their career guide. Responsibilities Host dynamic and collaborative planning conferences that unleash the creative potential of educators. Coach, train, and mentor teachers individually/one‑on‑one. Craft creative example lessons that captivate students. Lead interactive professional development workshops when needed. Research and demonstrate instructional strategies. Foster a culture of active participation and vibrant open discussions. Ensure all educator development is completed successfully. Provide report documentation as required. Communicate actively with directors regarding activities. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (master’s degree preferred). Experience teaching math, literacy, science or other relevant curriculum. 5 years of experience delivering professional development workshops to adult educators. 5 years of experience coaching teachers and/or school leaders either cognitively, instructionally or within a specific content‑area focus in mind.
