Senior Scrum Master

W2 only, no C2C, must be authorized to work in the US (both now and in the future). Contract Duration 7mo (runs through the end of 2026) Schedule Hybrid Onsite in Madison, WI Compensation rate $60-73/hr + benefits through Carex What You'll Do Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives Coach teams on Agile principles, frameworks, and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress and delivery timelines Partner with product owners to ensure well-defined backlogs, clear priorities, and aligned sprint goals Track and communicate key Agile metrics such as velocity, sprint progress, and delivery forecasts Support scaling Agile practices across multiple teams or programs as needed Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables Mentor junior Scrum Masters and contribute to Agile maturity across the organization What You'll Bring Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment, preferably supporting complex or enterprise-level initiatives Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe Proven ability to lead, coach, and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority Experience using Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) preferred Experience in regulated or highly structured environments is a plus Carex Consulting Group is an equal opportunity employer.
