Project Manager (PMP)

This is a 100% onsite work position based in Tallahassee, FL. Apply only if you are willing to relocate. Education Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or another related field or equivalent work experience. Certifications Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA), Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), and ITIL Certification. Required Experience 12+ years of experience as a Project Manager leading projects ranging from software development, hardware replacements, data migrations, strategic planning, and governance. Experience analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvements to support strategic goals. Experience as an IT Project Manager for software development projects. Proficiency in eliciting requirements, documenting user stories, and defining acceptance criteria. Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps or GitHub for backlog management and tracking. Experience developing and executing user acceptance test cases. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Feature Driven Design. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Earned Value, Cost Performance Index (CPI), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), and budget tracking and monitoring. Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools. Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams. Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence. Ability to support a tactical resource plan by mapping future demand to forecast project completions in the project portfolio. Preferred Experience Extensive experience in business process modeling and improvement. Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale projects. Experience overseeing multiple project teams and managers, ensuring overall delivery achieves program goals. Deep understanding of data analysis techniques and tools. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. High proficiency in stakeholder management and communication. Experience with cloud computing and enterprise architecture. Experience with policy development and drafting legislative budget requests. Proficiency in project budget tracking and monitoring, as well as vendor management.
