Work Environment

This position operates onsite, primarily in the homes of clients, allowing therapists to provide care in the most comfortable environment for patients. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will engage in ongoing communication with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure a seamless continuum of care. Your schedule will typically consist of 40 hours per week, with variable weekends included to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate patients with functional limitations or disabilities, formulating individual treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Consult with healthcare providers on the continuum of care for patients, ensuring all aspects of treatment are coordinated effectively.
• Maintain high standards of customer service while interacting with patients of diverse backgrounds, ages, and cultures.
• Implement treatments as per the established plans, re-evaluating patients periodically to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments.
• Document all evaluations, treatment plans, and patient interactions adhering to legal and regulatory guidelines, including submitting charges for services rendered.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to discuss patient care strategies and improvements.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives and assist in program development to enhance the visibility and impact of our services.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuous education opportunities to improve competencies and stay updated with industry standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients dealing with orthopedic conditions, including those recovering from surgeries, fractures, joint replacements, and chronic pain issues. Our clients range across various age groups and backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and recovery goals, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field is required.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in New Jersey is mandatory for practice.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic setting or home care services is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documenting treatments and managing patient information effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits package includes health insurance, paid time off, retirement contributions, and opportunities for professional development and continuing education.
