Job Description:
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in a clinical setting. The role involves managing respiratory treatments, including critical care ventilator management and administering respiratory therapies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage critical care ventilators and provide pediatric respiratory disease management.
- Deliver medications and respiratory therapeutic interventions.
- Caring for pediatric patients who have undergone open-heart procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of PICU experience within the last 5 years.
- BLS, PALS, RRT, and WA state license (must be in hand or have proof of application 6+ weeks ago).
- Proficiency in critical care ventilator management and respiratory disease management for the pediatric population.
- Experience with ABG (GEM) and use of NIV (CPAP/BIPAP/HHFNC).
- EPIC EMR experience required.
