Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our emergency room team. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to deliver compassionate and efficient nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency room, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Perform emergency procedures as necessary and assist in life-saving techniques.
Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments accurately.
Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.

Schedule Details

This position requires 12-hour evening shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a rotating weekend schedule. Orientation includes two non-billable 12-hour shifts.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency room setting.
Preferred experience of 4+ years in a similar role.

Licenses and Certifications Required

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Certification
Epic experience

This position may require working on holidays, with a minimum of three holiday shifts scheduled between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day.
