About the Role
Indotronix is hiring a Senior HIL Test Engineer (Level 4) to advance hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test environments for cutting-edge avionics and embedded systems. You'll lead hands-on test environment setup, automation, and integration while collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams. Responsibilities

- Lead configuration, deployment, and upkeep of HIL test environments for avionics and embedded systems
- Develop, automate, and execute comprehensive test and verification activities
- Integrate automated testing within CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines
- Utilize NI TestStand, NI VeriStand, NI LabVIEW, and similar platforms for test automation
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software integration issues, leveraging NI PXIe systems
- Set up and validate production-like test environments for thorough system verification
- Apply AI tools and state-of-the-art HIL methodologies to optimize testing efficiency
- Support FPGA and hardware integration testing as needed
- Document technical processes, test procedures, and verification outcomes
- Collaborate with software, systems, hardware, and DevSecOps teams to meet delivery schedules

Required Skills and Experience

- Proven expertise with NI TestStand, NI VeriStand, and NI LabVIEW in HIL environments
- Strong programming skills: C, C++, Python, MATLAB
- Experience in automated testing and verification for embedded or avionics systems
- Proficiency with version control tools like Git
- Exceptional troubleshooting, debugging, and collaborative skills
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related with 5+ years' experience, or Master's with 3+ years
- Able to work onsite in Cambridge, MA and obtain U.S. Security Clearance if sponsored

Preferred Skills

- Experience deploying AI tools and advanced HIL techniques
- Familiarity with FPGA testing and avionics communication protocols (MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, CAN)
- Background in avionics display system validation
- Experience with integrating CI/CD or DevSecOps workflows in HIL environments
