Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing*** To assist in the operation of the Stone processing plants.* Responsible for checking conveyors, screens, and crushers; and reporting operating problems and oversize stone.* Start and shut down plant equipment as necessary, and perform general clean up around the plant.* Make minor repairs and adjustments, inspect and grease/lubricate plant equipment.* Will be able to proficiently operate the plant. Will perform other miscellaneous duties as may be requested.**What We're Looking For*** Strong mechanical aptitude and the capability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant and quarry equipment* Ability to understand and follow technical instructions, maintenance procedures, and safety practices* Awareness of safe work habits while working around heavy machinery and moving equipment* Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting, climbing, and working in outdoor and indoor industrial environments* Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach to supporting operational needs**Conditions of Employment*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check* Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing**Work Environment*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level**What We Offer*** $29.05 per hour* Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension* Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidaysEqual Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr Heidelbergmaterials
