About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM; On-call days: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM every 4 weekends Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certification, NIHSS Must-Have: - 2+ years of Cath Lab experience - Cerner experience - Ability to take STEMI call - Flexibility to cover extra call shifts Description: Two Cath Lab RNs are needed urgently. Candidates should have primarily Cath Lab experience. EP experience is a bonus but not required. They will be required to take STEMI call. Previous travel experience is highly preferred. The unit performs 15-20 procedures per day, including peripheral vascular intervention, cardiac intervention, and cardiac rhythm management procedures. Structural heart experience is not necessary. The position includes four ten-hour shifts with rotating on-call duties. When not on call, hours are from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. On-call hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The schedule follows a six-week rotation. On-call is one night per week with weekend coverage if the call day falls on Friday. Days off will also rotate, and a four-day weekend is built into the schedule. Candidates must possess ACLS and NIHSS certifications.
