Assistant Executive Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and hands-on Assistant Executive Housekeeper to support the daily operations of our housekeeping department while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest service. This is a working leadership position, and the Assistant Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for supervising and supporting the housekeeping team while also cleaning guest rooms, completing laundry, and assisting with daily housekeeping operations.

The ideal candidate is a dependable team leader who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and is willing to lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Housekeeper with the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
• Supervise, train, coach, and support housekeeping staff.
• Assist with daily room assignments and ensure all assigned rooms are completed according to established standards.
• Clean guest rooms as assigned, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing guest amenities.
• Perform deep-cleaning tasks as needed.
• Complete laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, sorting, and stocking linens, towels, and other housekeeping items.
• Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities as needed.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and proper presentation.
• Stock, maintain, and transport housekeeping supply carts daily.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies, linens, and inventory and communicate replenishment needs.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately.
• Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Perform guest turn-down service as needed.
• Communicate room status and maintenance concerns with the Front Desk and Maintenance departments.
• Help ensure all housekeeping team members follow proper safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures.
• Assist with training and onboarding new housekeeping team members.
• Provide hands-on support to the housekeeping team and step in to clean rooms or assist with laundry whenever needed.
• Support the Executive Housekeeper and assume additional departmental responsibilities in their absence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
