Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist working with K-12 students for the 2024-2027 school years. This engaging role centers around providing high-quality therapy services to a diverse caseload of 45 students. Enjoy the stability of a long-term assignment while supporting young learners in a dynamic educational setting.
You’ll work standard school hours—Monday through Friday with 37.5 hours per week—contributing to each student’s growth and development in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Your expertise in school-based therapy and healthcare will be instrumental in creating meaningful impact from the day you start through June 2027.
What we’re looking for:
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license (PT MA) required
- Experience with school-based PT services (K-12 preferred)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and adjust Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Compassionate approach, dedicated to student-focused outcomes
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting evaluations and re-evaluations to determine student needs
- Designing and delivering evidence-based treatment plans for K-12 students
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with educators, families, and other related service providers
- Maintaining thorough, timely records and adhering to state and federal guidelines
- Providing consultation and guidance to school staff and parents to support the generalization of skills
