Senior Tax Specialist (85K-125K base)

Senior Tax Specialist - Insurance and Financial Services We are partnering with a well‑established insurance and financial services organization seeking a Senior Tax Specialist to join its growing Finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work across corporate tax, financial reporting, audit coordination, and insurance accounting in a highly collaborative environment. The position reports directly to senior finance leadership and provides strong exposure to both GAAP and statutory reporting. Key Responsibilities Prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions and disclosures for statutory and GAAP entities Review Federal and state tax returns and related book-to-tax adjustments Review quarterly tax estimates and coordinate timely tax payments Respond to Federal and state tax notices and support external tax advisors and auditors Research and document tax regulations and assess business impact Prepare financial statements and analytics for a captive insurance company Coordinate annual audit processes across multiple departments Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or CPA‑track preferred 2–4+ years of corporate tax and/or insurance accounting experience Understanding of GAAP and statutory accounting principles Experience with tax provisions, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their exposure within a dynamic finance organization and gain hands‑on experience across tax, reporting, and insurance operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr Daley And Associates, LLC
