Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to accurately evaluate clients’ substance use histories and mental health needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to address both addiction issues and any co-occurring mental health conditions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, case managers, and support staff, to ensure an integrated approach to client care.

• Educate and engage clients' families, promoting their involvement in the recovery process and providing them with tools to support their loved ones.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring continuity of care and accountability.

• Participate in regular team meetings and training workshops to continuously enhance therapeutic skills and stay updated on best practices in addiction counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals struggling with substance use disorders, ranging from those in early recovery stages to those seeking to maintain long-term sobriety. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, addressing not only their addiction but also addressing co-occurring mental health challenges that may complicate their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential.

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and knowledge of co-occurring disorders is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
