Desert Sage Health is looking for an independently licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor to join our outpatient practice. This position offers the perks of a private practice without many of the frustrations of having to run a private practice. Billing, pre-authorizations, and initial scheduling are all handled by our administrative staff. This is a salaried position so providers do not have to worry about cancellations, no shows or contracts. Patients are self-pay or have private insurance, and we have a credentialer on staff to navigate paneling a new provider with insurance companies.

We prefer providers that have experience working with children as young as 5 years old, adolescents and adults, as typically there is a diverse caseload. The schedule is based on mutual collaboration and is fairly flexible.

Job duties to include:

• Provide therapeutic services, which is based on competency and may include individual, group, couples, family and/or group therapy.
• Conducts intake interviews with new clients.
• Keep accurate, up to date records, including progress notes, treatment plans, communication logs, and discharge/ transfer summaries.
• Ability to navigate an electronic medial record.
• Protect client’s rights.
• Recognize obvious symptoms of mental health diagnoses, personality disorder or substance abuse.
• Recognize and respect cultural differences.
• Experience with insurance is preferred but not required. We have a person onsite to help with credential if needed.

• In-person sessions are also taking place.
• Increase sanitation practices and safety protocols have been implement in the office.
• Providers and clients are required to wear a mask in common areas of the office.
