Overview Registered Nurse, PACU travel assignment in Great Falls, MT. Start date 09/08/2026 for a 13-week assignment in a short-term acute care hospital setting. Guaranteed hours of 40 per week with a 3x12-hour daytime shift (9am-9pm; days vary) and travel-temporary assignment duties. This role covers PreOp, PACU, and Pre/Post Cath and Procedural recovery, with call and holidays required. Weekly pay ranges from $2,318 to $2,404. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,318-$2,404 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour daytime shifts (9am-9pm) Start date: 09/08/2026 Setting: Short-term acute care hospital PACU/Perioperative recovery Call and holiday coverage required Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care in PreOp, PACU, and Pre/Post Cath/procedural recovery for adult and pediatric patients. Monitor vitals, airway, breathing, circulation, pain management, and safety status; respond promptly to changes in patient condition. Collaborate with surgical teams across multiple specialties (orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, urology, gynecology, general, plastics, endoscopy, ophthalmology) and coordinate timely patient recovery and discharge planning. Document care and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record; ensure adherence to standards of practice and hospital protocols. Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling and participate in on-call and holiday coverage as required. Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in Montana (or eligible) and in good standing. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. Proficiency in recovering adults and pediatrics within PACU and procedural recovery settings. Ability to work in a high-acuity perioperative environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Flexible with scheduling, including call and holiday coverage. Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient-safety focus.
