The role entails supporting the organizations surgical team, ensuring patient safety, and delivering high-quality nursing care in a dynamic healthcare environment. Job Details Position Description: CVOR RN - operating room open heart nurse. Shift Schedule: Days, 4x10 variable shifts, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an associate's degree, current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse, at least 1 year of experience, ACLS and BLS certifications. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult patient populations, familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records, and Omnicell medication management system. Additional Responsibilities: On-call availability requiring a minimum of 7 days per month, including at least 1 weekend. Floating may be required depending on census. Position Duration: September 21, 2026, through December 19, 2026.
