Job Description Job Description Minimum 1+ years social worker experience required. Position Title: School Social Worker Location: Winter Park, FL Responsibilities Conduct assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Provide individual and group counseling to address a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, family dynamics, and peer relationships. Develop and implement intervention plans to support students' well‑being and academic success. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to create a supportive and inclusive school environment. Connect students and families with munity resources and services. Advocate for students' needs and ensure they receive appropriate support and acmodations. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP and 504 meetings, to contribute to students' educational plans. Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress. Qualifications Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field. State licensure or LCSW, LPC, or LMSW. Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred. Knowledge of social‑emotional learning (SEL) and mental health practices.
