Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking qualified Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) Registered Nurses (RNs) for a night shift position in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing advanced medical and surgical care for adult patients with a variety of diagnoses, including post-surgical patients, patients with respiratory support needs, and those requiring complex interventions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 3x12 Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and MEND certification; experience with Epic electronic medical record system preferred; ability to care for adult medical-surgical and orthopedic patients, including those with complex surgical wounds, respiratory support, and cardiovascular care; should have at least 1 year of charge experience; patient ratio experience of 5.
• Additional Information: The unit cares for patients with diagnoses such as hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, bowel obstructions, and general medical/surgical patients. The candidate may be required to care for COVID-19 patients. Floating to other departments such as Orthopedics and Rehabilitation may be necessary based on unit needs.
• Location: 1 Hospital Drive, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
• Vaccinations: COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons.
• Submission requirements: Prior charge nurse experience preferred; charting experience using Epic is heavily preferred; no travel experience required.
