Prior experience is a big plus, but for the right person, no experience is necessary, we will train you!Main Job Tasks, Duties and ResponsibilitiesWash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using the dishwasher or by hand if necessaryKeep dishwasher clean and immediately report any functional or mechanical problems to managementMonitor dishwasher water temperature and chemicals to ensure sanitary wash cycleMaintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly conditionPlace clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areasMaintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchenMaintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning suppliesSort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areasSweep, scrub, and mop floorsClean food preparation and production areas as requiredReceive and store supplies as neededKeep garbage receptacles clean and in good conditionTransfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areasHandle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and lossCoordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests' needs and support the operation of the restaurantAttend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvementFill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operationsComplete daily cleaning checklistsAll other duties as assignedKey Skills and CompetenciesAbility to "clean as you go"Communication skillsAbility to multi-taskAdaptability and appreciation of diversityTeamworkIf you feel this is you, please apply now!
