PICU RN Travel Nurse

PICU RN travel nurse assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina for 13 weeks. The role offers competitive compensation up to $3,100 per week and a comprehensive benefits package. You will provide high-acuity pediatric intensive care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-acuity pediatric intensive care to critically ill patients using advanced equipment and protocols.
• Monitor and manage invasive lines, ventilators, and vasoactive drips with precision and aseptic technique.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop and execute personalized care plans.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in EPIC EMR, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
• Float as needed to Pediatric CVICU, NICU, Neonatal PCU, and general Peds units, maintaining flexibility across units.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• BLS and PALS certifications required; EPIC certification experience preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric ICU experience, with strong high-acuity PICU background
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Ability to float to Pediatric CVICU, NICU, Neonatal PCU, and general Peds units
• Excellent communication, teamwork skills, and strong attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

• EPIC certification experience
• Previous travel nursing experience
