QC Analyst I-Microbial Control

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform microbiological testing of in-process, lot release, and stability study samples
• Collect and analyze environmental monitoring samples, including water, clean water, and surface samples
• Perform environmental monitoring activities throughout the facility
• Support Utility and HVAC monitoring and sampling activities
• Perform laboratory analysis of collected environmental and microbiological samples
• Follow aseptic practices and techniques during sample collection and laboratory testing
• Work safely and effectively in safety cabinets when performing assigned laboratory activities
• Apply company policies, procedures, and established laboratory practices to complete assigned tasks
• Recognize deviations from accepted practices and escalate issues as appropriate
• Analyze data and identify relevant factors when addressing laboratory problems
• Apply Data Integrity principles to all laboratory activities and documentation
• Maintain accurate and timely laboratory records and test results
• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting
• Utilize laboratory computer systems as required
• Complete assigned activities accurately and within established timelines
• Follow applicable quality, safety, and cGMP requirements
• Communicate testing results, issues, and observations effectively with team members and management
• Perform additional Quality Control and Microbial Control duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related science field preferred
