DIETITIAN (FT VARIED)

Responsibilities Responsible for the nutritional care, treatment, rehabilitation and education of patients based on patient assessments of needs, conditions, impairments, disabilities, and age. Duties include assessing nutritional status, developing care plans, educating patients and families, calculating nutritional and actual intakes, and preparing special diets. Shift FULL TIME VARIED Education Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or a closely related field approved by the American Dietetic Association (ADA). Experience Completed a CADE-accredited supervised practice program at a healthcare facility, community agency, or a foodservice corporation, or combined with undergraduate or graduate studies. Typically, the program runs six (6) to twelve (12) months in length. Technical Skills Computer proficient. License/Certification Valid registration as a Registered Dietician from the ADA. Current license by the State of Nevada as Dietician. Specialty certification (CDE, CNSD, CSP, CDR) may be required for a specialty position. Other Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
