Senior Corporate Associate Attorney
A highly regarded national law firm with a strong corporate practice is seeking a senior associate to join its corporate team. The firm represents emerging growth companies, investment funds, and other sophisticated clients in complex transactional matters.
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
- Support private equity and investment fund transactions from structuring through closing
- Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, merger agreements, organizational documents, and related transaction documents
- Conduct and oversee due diligence and identify key legal and business considerations
- Work closely with clients, opposing counsel, and other advisors throughout the transaction process
- Collaborate with attorneys across the firm's general corporate and transactional practices
- Develop relationships with emerging growth companies, funds, and other clients
Qualifications:
- JD class of 2020-2023
- Prior large law firm experience
- Demonstrated experience handling M&A and/or private equity transactions
- Admitted to the applicable state bar
