Program Description: Upon completion of training, PJT Camberview Summer Analysts will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of client work, business development, and conduct research while being staffed on a number of assignments at once. Due to the relatively small size of the advisory team, a Summer Analyst will assume an integral role on his or her client teams, often working directly with senior level team members. The Summer Analyst will play a vital role in supporting all aspects of PJT Partners’ shareholder advisory business with a focus on the Governance business vertical. Responsibilities: Work within assigned client teams to support all aspects of client mandates, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of each assigned client, their business and their governance structure and profile Support identification and analysis of corporate governance and proxy voting issues facing public companies and assist in developing a plan for successfully advising companies on these issues Assist in preparation of sophisticated and effective management, board and investor presentations across a range of corporate governance issues Research, analyze and develop materials relating to institutional investors, market and peer practices and recent governance and activism trends for use with clients Help prepare senior team members for client meetings, including engagements with company leadership and board members Contribute to the firm’s intellectual leadership by supporting the development of research materials with broad applicability Qualifications: PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have excellent academic, leadership and extracurricular records. Expected annualized base salary of $120,000. This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills and experience. Base salary is one component of PJT Partners’ compensation structure. In addition to base salary, PJT Partners’ compensation structure may include additional rewards, incentives, and benefits, including but not limited to, a discretionary bonus component.
