BMWC is an industrial construction company seeking a Quality Department Data Entry Clerk to join the Quality Team. This crucial position allows you to contribute to the delivery of large-scale industrial construction projects.You will be part of a top-performing project team and report to an expert, Quality Director in the industry. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the Quality and Fabrication Management Team in inputting quality records, running reports using input data, and entering records daily into the system.RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Quality Department Data Entry Clerk, you will:Type in data providedMove data from paper formats into computer files or database systemsAccurately input large sums of dataPerform verification of data by comparing it to source documentsReview and update existing data, as necessaryCollect data from the database or electronic files as requestedManage and file electric files and/or hard copy paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lostFrequent communication with the quality team and project personnel including Project Manager(s), Project Engineer(s), as well as Craft SupervisionEmbrace technological innovations and continuously seek to improve processes and best practicesCommunicate, through the appropriate channels, any observations of issuesMeet corporate standard for development activityPerform other work-related duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONSHigh School diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of professional experience of working in a Data Entry Clerk position or in general clerical or administrative support, construction experience a plusGood knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devicesBasic knowledge of touch-typing system and database management toolsFast typing skills with close attention to detailGood command of English - both oral and writtenStrong customer service orientation, flexibility, and professionalismEffective communication with all levels of employees – including differing skill sets, education and experience; able to work with a diverse teamExcellent organization skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.High sense of work priority and urgencyAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a constantly changing environmentAbove average computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products; technical aptitude to learn internal systems and required packagesBENEFITSCompetitive Pay with BonusPTO and paid holidays401K/Profit Sharing with company matchMedical, Dental and Vision InsuranceLife, AD&D and Disability benefitsPet InsuranceTuition ReimbursementPaid Volunteer Time OffABOUT USBMWC tackles the world's toughest and most daunting industrial construction challenges.
