Parts Associate

Tom Gill Auto Group is seeking an Automotive Parts Associate to join our team at Tom Gill Chevrolet, located in Florence, KY.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Sales: Assisting technicians, retail customers, and wholesale accounts in sourcing parts, providing price quotes, and recommending companion parts to boost sales.
Order Fulfillment: Locating parts, pulling orders from stock, and processing special orders for items not currently in inventory.
Inventory Control: Assisting with daily inventory replenishment, organizing stock, and recording "lost sales" to optimize inventory levels.
Documentation & Billing: Creating accurate invoices, processing payments, handling returns, and updating repair orders.
Technical Support: Using computer software and electronic parts catalogs to accurately identify parts.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience: Previous automotive parts experience is preferred, but not required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with computer systems (parts catalog software) is essential.
Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 2550 lbs.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and technicians.
License: A valid driver's license is required.
