Job Description Job Description An Internal Medicine & Obesity Medicine Practice in Wylie, Texas is looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with excellent organizational, clinical, and customer service skills. We desire a candidate who is self-motivated, courteous, and dependable as well as possessing a high level of professionalism. The candidate must be able to be cross train to work front and back office. Primary Responsibilities: * Greets patients * Answers phones * Schedules appointments * Checks in and out * Verifies insurance * Rooms patients and takes vitals and history * Records patient care documentation in an electronic medical record accurately and in a timely manner * Assists physician with procedures * Organizes, stocks and cleans exam rooms * Injections * Phlebotomy services Minimum Requirements: * Two years of experience working both front and back office in a medical practice * Highly proficient computer skills including experience with electronic medical records, practice management systems, and Microsoft Office (experience with Athena EMR is a plus) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Experience: * Certified Medical Assistant: 1 year (Required) * Phlebotomy skills License: * Certified Medical Assistant (Required) Work Location: * One location Company Description Welcome to VIVIFY Wellness Center Primary Care Doctor in Wylie, Texas - Internist in Wylie, Texas Dr. Kene Anamekwe is a board-certified internist and has been providing Primary Care Services in Wylie and other Texas cities for a decade.
