Senior Cybersecurity Analyst - Cloud Security Automation

Salary: $107,243.85 - 160,865.77 per year Requirements:

• 5–7+ years of experience in application security, DevSecOps, secure software engineering, cloud or infrastructure security, security operations, or a closely related field; experience in AWS-heavy environments is preferred.
• Experience integrating enterprise security tools such as CSPMs, CAASMs, SIEMs, and vulnerability management systems to assess security posture and alert on or automatically remediate issues using a risk-based approach.
• Strong knowledge of Python or a similar programming language for automating work across security, engineering, and SRE systems.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools for development and for delivering application and infrastructure security solutions in an enterprise environment.
• ISC2 CISSP, CCSP, or comparable security certifications are a plus.
• A bachelors degree is preferred. We may also consider relevant coursework combined with experience or extensive related professional experience.

• Design, implement, and operate scalable application and cloud security automation across our software development lifecycle.
• Design and maintain code-scanning architecture, integrating SAST, software composition analysis, secret detection, cloud security checks, and approved frontier-model capabilities with CI/CD pipelines and repository structures.
• Align our code and cloud security posture with Comcast security standards, service-level agreements, risk thresholds, compliance requirements, and risk-management frameworks.
• Integrate application and cloud security results into security portals, compliance and vulnerability reports, operational dashboards, and executive scorecards.
• Work with cross-functional teams to embed security measures in new and existing systems.
• Assess risks, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Develop and maintain incident-response protocols, including investigating and resolving security breaches.
• Design and implement controls that proactively detect and prevent security gaps, using NIST and other frameworks.
• Review changes to security hardware and software, assess their impact, and confirm alignment with industry practices.
• Research and implement approved tactical and strategic information-security plans.
• Lead security awareness and training initiatives to strengthen a culture of security resilience.
• Audit data systems and promote visibility of security precautions in system design.
• Partner with Information Security leadership to address security gaps and weaknesses.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters, and carry out other assigned duties.
• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, and work variable schedules, including nights and weekends, as needed for security operations.
