Registered Nurse - SICU

$2578.56/week - Job Summary: Responsible for delivering comprehensive critical care to surgical and trauma patients in a fast-paced ICU environment. Ensures high-quality patient monitoring, assessment, and intervention to support recovery and stability. Responsibilities: Provide advanced nursing care for adult surgical and trauma ICU patients, adhering to established protocols and standards. Monitor patient vital signs, clinical conditions, and laboratory data, promptly responding to changes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records. Adhere to hospital policies, including float policies and safety regulations, ensuring compliance at all times. Support patient and family education regarding care plans and recovery processes. Qualifications: Hold a valid Virginia Registered Nurse license (pending licenses accepted with confirmation prior to start). Demonstrate at least 13 weeks of ICU experience, with Epic EMR proficiency required. Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications. Proven ability to work night shifts (4x12 hours) and handle a variable schedule including every other weekend and holiday shifts. Exhibit strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
