About the Role Our client, a reputable accounting firm, is seeking a motivated Audit Senior to join their team in Paarl. This role involves leading audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and providing valuable insights into their financial operations. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing audits, supervising junior staff, and building strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities Plan, execute, and supervise financial statement audits for a variety of clients. Assess internal controls and identify areas for improvement. Perform audit procedures, including testing of financial transactions and account balances. Prepare clear and concise audit reports, including findings and recommendations. Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and feedback. Maintain strong client relationships and serve as a key point of contact for audit matters. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Auditing. Professional qualification (e.g., SAICA - articles completed) is essential. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in external audit. Thorough understanding of International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and relevant accounting standards. Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
