Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year, first timers accepted License: Required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Epic charting system experience - Required skills in BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line blood draw, chest tube care, colostomy/ileostomy management, feeding tube care, heparin administration, insulin management, isolation precautions, IV starts, surgical drains, wound care, telemetry Description: The role requires caring for adult to geriatric patients. The nurse will work within a renal medical surgical setting. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5-6. The average daily census is 48 with 49 rooms available. The position requires working every other weekend unless specified otherwise. Floating to other areas within the facility may be necessary as needed. The traveler is expected to work one major holiday if it falls within the assignment period. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur during the assignment, the traveler will work two of them. Full compliance is required to start promptly. All compliance documents must be submitted before the deadline.
