We are on the lookout for a motivated and enthusiastic Ford Certified Diesel Service Technician to join our dynamic team at Phil Long Ford of Motor City! In this fast-paced role, you will perform crucial repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty and medium-duty diesel vehicles, ensuring they operate at peak performance. Your responsibilities will include providing top-notch technical service, diagnosing malfunctions through keen observation, and meticulously following checklists to examine vital components.

To thrive as a Ford Certified Diesel Service Technician at Phil Long Ford of Motor City, you'll need a robust set of skills and qualifications. A Ford Certification is essential, alongside a minimum of one year of fleet or dealership experience-particularly advantageous if you've previously worked within a Ford dealership. Holding a high school diploma or equivalent is required, with ASE certification preferred to elevate your expertise further. Being a dedicated teammate is crucial; you must possess a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and support your service team wholeheartedly.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Ford Certification
• Previous experience in a Ford dealership is a plus
• At least 3 year of Fleet or Dealership experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• ASE certification preferred
• Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
• Self-motivated and professional
• Possess own tools
